About Your Newborn Session

The newborn session is all about capturing natural, authentic connections as you welcome your little one into your hearts and home, preserving details and moments that draw us back to this beautiful season. It takes place in the comfort of your home, at an easy pace for your family to feel relaxed in their own space. My approach is calm and simple, focusing on capturing the uniqueness of your baby, with all their tiny details; from their hands, toes, lips, lashes to fuzzy shoulders and gorgeous rolls. There will be a mix of both newborn portraits, as well as creating space to capture some lifestyle images of your family interacting and soaking up your newest little family member.

The newborn session takes place within the first 5-14 days of your little one being born, and is between 2-3 hours long (we stop for feeding and cuddles as necessary). I bring everything needed for the session, including a range of blankets and beautiful wraps.

After your session, you will receive 80+ images in an online gallery you can download. There are colour and black & white copies of each image in both high resolution and web friendly size.
